About Me
My name is Kelly. I’m a dog trainer, dog walker and pet sitter. The reason my business is called KM dog walking, dog training and pet services because I started my business in memory of my dog Meg. The bond I had with Meg from a young age is what made me decide to pursue a job within the animal sector.
I first started following my dream when I studied two years at bishop burton studying animal care. This helped me by giving me the fundamental skills to care for many different types of animals ranging from domestic to exotic. This also gave me the platform to be able to do work experience in a veterinary practise, a horse riding stables and also a kennels. By studying at bishop burton my passion and knowledge for animals grew.
After I completed my course with a distinction star I decided to expand my knowledge to animal behaviour and training which I went to bishop burton again for but this time it was through hull university. I studied for three years studying animal behaviour and training at degree level to get my BSC Honours in animal behaviour and training. This helped me learn the skills needed to train a variety of animals with a variety of different training techniques in a force free and positive manner but also learning why certain techniques are not recommended which helped me to wider my knowledge further.
By gaining all this knowledge and experience gave me the skills i needed to create my own business in dog training, dog walking and animal care. I am also fully insured.

Dog walking
Would you like your dog walking? Are you going back to work? Starting a new job? Going away for the day but can’t take your dog with you? I am here to help. I am a fully qualified animal behaviourist and trainer, as well as qualified in animal care and animal first aid. This means that your dog is in very safe hands. I am also fully insured. I always walk your dogs either by themselves or dogs of the same household so every walk I can give your dog the attention and care they deserve.

I have extensive training experience and animal behavioural training. My training is fun, factual and force free which makes training an enjoyable experience. Every dog that’s trained with me gets a training plan specifically tailored to you and your dogs need. They get 1 to 1 sessions every time which I believe gives you the best training experience and the best results. Let me help achieve your goals with your dog.
Puppy training
Getting a new puppy is a very exciting time. Here at KM dog walking, dog training and pet services we offer an alternative to puppy classes where your puppy can learn in there own home and have one to one sessions. when your puppy is ready to go outside we can help by introducing and socialising your puppy to the world around them.
Pet sitting
Does your dog or cat get anxious or nervous when going into a kennel or cattery? Do they prefer to be in there home setting? Maybe pet sitting could be beneficial to you. I offer pet sitting in your own home where your pet can feel safe, secure and in there own environment. We also care for small animals too. I have extensive experience with a variety of small animals and reptiles. No matter what pet you have we are here to help. I offer visits throughout the day or overnight stays whichever you would prefer.
